Our cabin is located in a FEMA Zone A Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA). We were awarded a FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program grant to mitigate flood damage by elevating our cabin. This blog will document this process with video and pictures.

7-17-2015: Up, up and away!!
This is a compilation video surrounding the actual lifting of the cabin. There was much preparation and planning before and between each lift. Messier House Moving and Construction did incredible work to make this happen quickly and safely!
